![]() "If you loved X-Men before, you're going to want to marry Marvel now!" -Unhinged Reviews "Days Of Future Past" went above and beyond the call of Awesomeness! This movie is nothing short of epic and it deserves a trillion praises for raising the bar on Greatness and Mind-Blowing cinema! We loved it and "Days Of Future Past" has taken us deeper than ever before. If you haven't seen this blockbuster yet, get your arse down to the theater and make it happen! This film has solidified X-Men as the series to beat and reminds us all why Marvel reigns supreme in the genre of superhero film! So as we embrace our mutations, let's Unhinge... To set the record straight, anyone that tells you that "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" isn't awesome will suffer a horrible attack of teletubbies invading their home. So, if you don't see your friends for awhile you'll know why..lol Now for everyone else that knows the movie is awesome whether they have seen it or not, let's begin! "OMG" the plot thickens with a passion! Everything you thought you knew about X-Men so far was just scratching the surface. After watching this movie, you'll feel like you took a bath in the same waters that Wolverine(Jackman) got his claws in! You'll come out slashing and clamoring for more of the mutant juice coursing through the veins of so many spectacular X-Men. The cast for one is phenomenal! You've got Hugh Jackman(Wolverine), Halle Berry(Storm), McAvoy(Xavier), Lawrence(Mystique) and the list goes on. Nothing but star power here folks and the end result is Titan! There is no film on this earth that can knock this film down, except another X-Men and that's what we're dying to see. We've always been on the fences about pushing the X-Men to the next level because look at how many stellar films they already have. 1. X-Men (2000) 2. X-Men: X2 (2003) 3. X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) 4. X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) 5. X-Men: First Class (2011) 6. The Wolverine (2013) Now, if that's not something unheard of, we don't know what else is..lol The best thing about it is that each film has been better than it's predecessor and they all lead up to the next. So our question when "Days Of Future Past" was coming up was "What can they possibly do now"? Well, you can rest assured that they prove that not only do they know what to do with it, they are just getting started! In this 2014 mutated experience, Marvel takes things to a whole other realm of expectation. Not only do you have the "First Class" characters, you also have the foundation. We're talking Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen chopping it up in a way that only "Days Of Future Past" can bring. They go back to their roots, back to the origins to write a future wrong that threatens to change the course of the present. Now, you would think that a plot as thick and dense as this would get confusing, but Marvel doesn't even bat an eyelash. These guys are pros at what they do, maybe that's because they have been crafting intricate story lines for over 70 years! Who else can say that they have taken a comic book and brought it to the masses with this much success? What can we say about the action in this one? Um, how about it Rules! Explosions, claws, energy blasts, storms, telekinesis, cloaking, radiation, brute strength any and every element that is X-Men fits into this 2-hour plus Mutant Fest. You're going to be edge of the seat in no less than the first 10 minutes and you're going to stay there the whole time. There will be no going to get popcorn refills or running to the bathroom, you will sit there with your eyes peeled back the whole time. At least we did..lol There are so many mutants that we want to place on a pedestal, but we will only choose two. First up: Magneto(Fassbender/McKellen) Almost fainted just typing those two names together, what a freaking Rockstar! Magneto has always been one of our favorites with his ability to manipulate metal with the thought of his mind. Just imagine being able to lift a car during a traffic jam or lift a freakin submarine out of the freakin water! Does it get any better? Anyhow, this time he is relentless, his attitude is all or nothing and he does not care who or what gets in the way! Second: Mystique(Jennifer Lawrence) Sexy as ever, the blue mutant morphs and kicks her way to center stage as her very essence puts the whole world of X-Men in peril. But how can this be? It's not like she's super strong or even a quarter tank of Jean Grey, so why is she so pivotal this go round? How about maybe it's just because she's so bad arse and could give two snaps about what Magneto and Xavier tell her to do. Maybe she's just fed up with trying to please others and is going to finally do what would make her blue skin blush! We're telling you, you "Gotta get in there" and see this movie! It's just blow the back of your skull out good. Maybe we're exaggerating a little bit, but if you don't see this one, you need to move to a cave and swear off movies for the rest of your life. So if you haven't seen it yet, run to your car or hot foot it to the theaters A.S.A.P! Do you agree? Is X-Men that epic or do you have another opinion about it?
