Trust No One!
When it comes to going undercover and playing your cards against some of the most powerful criminals in the world, one cannot afford to tilt their hand.
Bob Musella(Cranston) finds this truth out the hard way, as he tries to get close to Pablo Escobar in one of the country's biggest sting operations. Musella must rely on more than just his senses to make it out alive, he must do the one thing most undercover agents hate. Any idea what that is? If you guessed trust, I'd say you were right. But...Bob must trust not one, but two people with less experience than him, if he will even come close to catching Escobar and ever seeing home again. Now of course, this sounds easy for most of us operating on the right side of the law, but for those dabbling in the unsavory underworld of crime and murder, it's pure torture. Well, if you're curious to see just how unsavory and treacherous Musella's Operation is..give this movie a glance, you won't be disappointed. Oh, Almost Forgot!
One of the most interesting things I always find in "undercover" films is that the moral compass of an agent is tested- Repeatedly.
I mean just look at how suave and debonair, Pablo's right-hand, Roberto Alcaino(Bratt) is up there in the picture. He's probably one of the most charismatic and sincere characters you will ever see on the screen, but don't get it twisted..He's a Wolf! So just imagine having to get in close and chummy with this guy and then pulling out the steel and ..... That's pretty damn cold-blooded if you ask me. Good thing for us, we don't have to bear the actual weight of this agent's captivating story. Final Thoughts
If you didn't catch this movie in theaters, make it happen as soon as it becomes available On-Demand or Redbox. It's a definite heart-stopper and worth every bit of praise it's received thus far.
John Leguizamo also stars in this movie as Emir Abreu and of course, he brings the noise that only he can bring \m/ (Longtime fan) -Unhinged Reviews Looking For More Drama? >Click Here<
