In Mocking-jay Part I, we find Ms. Everdeen digging deeper than she has ever had to before, but this time it's not just about her, it's about the cause. Unbeknownst to her, while she was fighting in the trenches to stay alive, a rebellion has been boiling over and you know what... It's Dinner Time! So grab your popcorn or whatever your pleasure as we load up to Unhinge... "Mockingjay Part I"! Katniss Everdeen Is Awesome! Have you ever enjoyed a character as much as Everdeen? She is definitely shaping up to be a bonafide soldier in Part II, but for now we'll focus on Part I. Okay so, this time around, Katniss is at a crossroads trying to collect her thoughts after enduring all that action in HG2: Catching Fire. You see in Catching Fire, it was all she could do to stay alive, but now that she's been rescued so to speak, the plot begins to thicken. We're talking potatoes, steak, gravy and onions in the kitchen folks..lol No one's going to leave this film unsatisfied by any means. It's a slow burner to start, but once it gets rolling, things get pretty interesting. In Mockingjay Part I, Katniss(Lawrence) attempts to come to terms with all the havoc she endured and subsequently has caused in her rebellious crusade. Let's just say, she's got a few more fans than she thought she had, but to be more exact, she's got all of the districts watching. These people have become more than faithful followers, they have become bands of resistance that have their sights set on the imperial Panem. President Snow(Sutherland) doesn't like this one bit, but what's he gonna do? Kill Katniss? Not if Plutarch and Haymitch(Harrelson) have anything to do with it. But... This all depends on how resilient Ms. Everdeen can prove to be. Can she shake off her own worries long enough to become a voice that will unite the districts? Or will she collapse from the weight of it all, as she longs for Peeta? To find out..You've got to watch the film;) Notable Performances In Hunger Games 3 To start, we've got to give some shine to the late, Phillip Seymour Hoffman for his portrayal of the cunning, Plutarch. In HG3: Mockingjay, we get to see another side of the game maker as he shows a more humorous, yet intelligent trait within his genius. He realizes that Katniss is alive for a reason much greater than even he himself. He will do everything he can to see that she is treated with the utmost respect. As for the rest of the cast, Everdeen included, everyone pulled their weight in this film. Even the knock off Chris Hemsworth stepped up the ante as Liam plays Hawthorne, Katniss's bestie who in earlier films was just hanging in the rafters. This time he eats a few more lines and shares some screen time with the Delicious Everdeen. He too is in full support of her efforts. After Watching Mockingjay Part I... We are more than ready to see just how Katniss and crew take on and conquer Part II of this interesting story. The reception across the world has been wonderful so far and the ticket sales are already over the 100 million-dollar mark..
