Got Room For One Mo?
Do you see that face? That cold-hearted stare? If you know anything about Quentin's films by now, you would know that he picks actors that make his films come to life.
The Hateful Eight is a movie jam-paced with all types of familiar faces and while even though some are known more than others..each one adds a little something extra the pot.
In this story, Quentin takes us out west in the wintertime where the only thing blowing is snow and the only thing hot is lead.
Hateful Eight is a movie about a bounty hunter named John "The Hangman" Ruth a.k.a Kurt Russell that is taking a wanted criminal called Daisy Domergue(Jennifer Leigh) to Red Rock to hang.
Sounds simple enough right? Wrong.
Now of course this would be easy, if all John had to do was plow through a blizzard and go straight to Red Rock, but you have to remember..this is a Tarantino film.
John must get to Red Rock while encountering some of the shadiest cowboys and sheriffs the west has ever created. He's just lucky that Major Marquis Warren(Jackson) is tagging along for the ride.
But, even while Warren is close by his side, there are some things that one can never be fully prepared for...
When You Get To Hell..Tell Em Daisy Sent Cha
Just like our friend, Daisy Domergue here. Now Daisy is a cutie with a smart mouth, but John knows that she is not as helpless as she seems.
After all, John "The Hangman" is an expereinced bounty hunter with years of experience bringing "Wanted" individuals to justice. So he knows when someone is as guilty as a cat eating a mouse.
Daisy on the other hand, plays her role to the 9s and puts on one helluva show, until the time comes and she must show her hand.
Trust me, you'll want to see what kind of hand this little ball of fury deals because it's definitely one of the best hands any of Quentin's characters have dealt in a long time.
After Watching, The Hateful Eight...
I was more than impressed with the overall story, as it had rays of Kill Bill sprinkled throughout the presentation.
One thing you'll walk away knowing after watching this is that Quentin knows how to tell a compelling story. It's a lengthy film, but it's well worth the distance.
So if you haven't watched "The Hateful Eight" yet, get your ass to Red Rock..lol..A.S.A.P!
