Awesome! Wayy Better Than The Tv Show If you were thinking this was just going to be some old school rerun with new faces, your in for a pleasant surprise. In fact, you don't even need to have seen the old shows to appreciate this breath of fresh air. It's intense action on tilt with plenty of story to justify the gooey violence! It doesn't take much for someone to take a stand for those who can't stand for themselves, but McCall takes it to a whole new level. This guy not only takes a stand, but breaks down some of Russia's baddest gangsters as if they are mere toothpicks. No way could they stand a chance against someone as formidable and raw as Robert McCall. Or can they? Compelling, This Movie Has Claws Okay, so you've got Robert McCall(Washington) playing janitor to some of the most ruthless criminals to hit the big screen in a minute. But it doesn't start out quite like that in the beginning.. First off, McCall is laying low working a day job within your everyday Lowe's type-store. You know, handling the shipping and receiving, plus helping a few of the younger guys earn their pay. He's not some bent screw or unharnessed wire, he's just your average man working a 9-5 job. At first..lol As the movie goes on, he gets chummy with this little lady named Teri(Moretz), who is in way over her head working the "late-shift". It's obvious she can't handle it and doesn't even want to handle it, but she's young and basically has no choice but to work it. McCall doesn't like this and it's just something about her that makes him want to "help". Now when most people think of help, they might think of loaning someone a dollar or opening a door, but not Robert McCall. When McCall helps, people get hurt like seriously hurt. We're talking body aching for the rest of your life kind of hurt. He's the no-nonsense guy that you want on your side because his flip-side is brutal and unrelenting. And that's just what "The Equalizer" is about. He levels the playing field, no matter how big or intimidating a threat may appear, he neutralizes, removes and incinerates threats. You'll see when you watch it, this movie is one for the books and full of high-quality carnage! It's Denzel On A Platter Have you ever watched Denzel's performances in films? We mean like really watched how he works his magic? Have you ever noticed how with one look he can say like 100 lines just by tilting his head to the side? Or how smoothly he delivers those witty zingers that keep him teetering ever closely to danger, but always one step ahead? Have you noticed that? Well, if you have or haven't, get ready because it's coming..lol Oh yeah, he rocks this role solid! He's pulled out all the stops, he's even cut his hair. We're talking BALD EAGLE WASHINGTON here and he's bringing nothing-but-the-truth. This has got to be one of his better performances since Training Day, although, Flight was interesting as well. Okay, we've gushed on about this one long enough, but if you haven't watched it, make it happen! There's plenty of action, witty dialogue and ..and..um, "Oh yeah", Denzel!
