![]() "Peter Parker may have gotten in over his web in his greatest struggle yet" -Unhinged Reviews So we are gonna go ahead and put it out there. The "Amazing Spider Man" is a softy at heart and this time around he's being put to the test! Peter may have all the special skills and light-footwork, but it's no match for matters of the heart or is it? Remember in the last one when Gwen's father told Peter to stay away? Well, it seems he didn't listen and what's about to unfold just may be the raid to burn underneath his skin. You ready? Let's Unhinge... Okay so, from the trailers we're sure you can see that Spidey's up against some stiff competition this go round. He's got Electro(Foxx) to deal with and we'll be the first to tell you...He is no joke! Dude is a live wire and Parker(Garfield) will need more than back twists to un-stick this clusterstuck of Awesome Action..lol It all begins with Peter doing what he does best earning his chops, swinging from building to building busting crooks left and upside-down til the message is clear. No one is safe from Spidey's wrath. He's even gotten cocky to the point that he dares to tempt fate, but what he didn't count on were the consequences of his actions. And "Oh the repercussions".. We're sure in hindsight Peter would have tried to think things through a little more clearly, but he's young, so he's still got plenty to learn about saving the world. Quick question though: How does one save the whole city and keep those closest to him happy at the same time. Well, he could bring them along for the ride or he could become the Amazing wall crawler that he was destined to be! As for Electro..'Woww"! Freakin awesome, you've never seen Foxx as much in his element as he is in "Amazing Spider Man 2". This character is a seamless transition for one as talented as Mr. Foxx. He plays Max Dillon, an engineer of sorts that is overworked, overlooked and doing his best to cope with one helluva doozy at work. Bet you never thought an accident at work would turn somebody blue, but in his case, he went straight from "Dopey Dan" to the Freakin Man! There's also a couple of other goodies that they stashed away in the film to keep us itching for the next one and ..we all know there will be more. One of the first noticeable differences in the story line is Peter's emotional state. Now we don't know if spiders have feelings, but this one does and he is put through the gauntlet with onslaught after onslaught of high quality HD entertainment. Hey Marvel! Someone should have told Peter it's lonely at the top. For anyone to experience what he goes through within the 2+ hour sensory-gasm of webby satisfaction would be more than most could even comprehend. How so? Well, let's see, he's got Electro on his case and a delicious Gwen(Stone) after his affections, what's Peter to do? Well to find out, you just might want to get down to the theater so you're not left in the dark with all the other crooks. This film was well worth the wait and a definite recommendation for those in love with Marvel films.
