Alien Territory
You know, it's amazing how humans are so arrogant to think that "We are the only beings existing in this lifetime".
I mean, are we so arrogant to think that we are the superior intelligence and there's not other life forms far beyond are reach growing and conquering dreams of their own? At least that's what it seems like on the Enterprise, as Kirk finds himself in another jam with another powerful force threatening to crush all that he and the "Federation" stand for. In Star Trek Beyond, the crew find themselves responding to a stress call from an alien named Kalara that is playing on Kirk''s "Captain Save Em" attitude. Well, let's just say that he gets more than he bargained for this time around..lol Because not only is he being manipulated...he's stepping into territory that could rip the very fabric of the universe in half! The Bones Beneath The Federation
So the villian in Beyond has a rather unique origin. I mean it's almost as if he's one step ahead of the Federation at every turn. But how is this possible?
I mean the only way to know just how someone or an organization will react ahead of time is if you have or had a similar way of viewing the world. Enter, Krall(Elba), a sourpuss with one hell of a hard-on for the Federation that who will destroy any and everyone in his path that tries to stop him from universal domination. But, it won't be easy if Jaylah(Boutella) or any other Enterprise members have anything to say about it because in this particular situation...everyone has something to lose. It all boils down to who wants it more and who is prepared to lose it all to gain peace of mind. After Watching, Star Trek Beyond
I'm going to say this is a good film to watch, if you're a fan of the new format and aren't hung up on truths from the 80s..lol
One of the best things about the whole "Star Trek" thing is that the story will continue to be retold throughout the ages with each version adding it's own unique twist to the ever-growing "Captain's Log". So yeah, rent it. What else are you going to do with your time? One more thing..Let's give a big round of applause to Simon Pegg for helping to write this entertaining nug of film. -Unhinged Reviews- Looking For More Unhinged Sci-Fi Reviews? >Click Here<
