And The Tape Played On...
One of the best things horror fans enjoyed about the first Sinister is all the creepy ass tapes of murder and suffering.
Yes that's right, murder and suffering. It seems the public has a soft spot for watching fear stricken faces writhing within the throws of unrelenting terror. Terror in the form of graphic murder delivered by the hands of a child. A child. A person young in age that is still too young to form opinions and ideas of their own resulting in an easily influenced vessel. And it seems that Sinister II picks up on that very idea and places several children center stage to entertain the masses through a buffet of violent imagery. You'll see what we're talking about when you watch the film, but understand that Bagul's methods are not all without a purpose. One must realize that his goal is capture the souls of few that will convert many into his own personal army of darkness. Looks like Bagul's something of a twisted business deity with plans to take over the world one child at a time. Let's just hope young, Dylan and Zach Collins have what it takes to rise above the undead pressure of their peers to live yet another day. But Is It Possible For That Kind Of Evil To Exist?
Why not? Why is it not possible for a demonic force to enter our homes and minds through violent video or imagery such as the picture shown above?
You've seen the way news stations feed people negative images all the time, swinging our thoughts to the right or left depending on their aim. Subliminal messaging has been around for hundreds years and it will continue to be. Sinister just capitalized on something that we've already become accustomed to doing.. Something we're already easily influenced by in our daily routines and practices around the globe. Think about it, you can't go more than two minutes on Facebook without seeing an act of violence or even less when watching the daily news. So why should Bagul, an evil deity, go against the grain and give you anything less than what you'd expect from pure evil. Now that's something to think about... After Watching, Sinister 2
We were definitely entertained by the story of a mother trying to save her sons from a known evil by unknowingly throwing them into the hands of a sinister force.
