How To Catch A Bodhi
So if you've watched the original "Point Break", you already know that the story is about a an FBI agent going undercover to catch a bunch of crooked adrenaline junkies.
What makes this one different is that Hollywood has new cinema technology and Edgar Rameirz. Yes, that's right. Edgar is the new Bohdi and Luke Bracey is the new Keanu Reeves or should we say, Johnny Utah.
Now, if you haven't seen either of them yet, you're in for a real treat. The reason being is that even though it's a remake, it's still kind of it's own movie.
In this version, you have a newbie FBI agent named Johnny Utah who thinks he can stop a group of extreme athletes from wreaking havoc on the world. Now what kind of havoc are we talking about here?
Only the kind that has some cool ass dudes robbing companies of millions in mid-air during their quest to complete the Osaki 8.
The Osaki 8 is a mythical gauntlet of impossible stunts that only the elite of the elite can even dare to attempt. And when you see it, you'll know why.
So, if you're in the mood for some extreme action fit for the X Games mixed in with a little FBI goodness, give this one a whirl. It's Bodhi-licious..lol
Aside from Johnny Utah, Bodhi is the meat and potatoes of this Red Bull infused remake.
Everything from his unique look and personal stash of "Bro-isms" are strategically tailored to pull you,the viewer into his twisted idea of Utopia.
He made us feel the same way we did with Swayze in 91, except this Bodhi's got a man-sized beard and charm to spare.
You will see more of what we're talking about when you watch this film.
After Watching, Point Break 2015...
We've got to say that we were not disappointed with the expereince and even found Bracey to be a little funny at times.
Now why would we say he's funny? Well, if you know anything about the "Early Keanu Reeves" (think Bill & Ted) he had this stoned out surfer vibe in most of his films.
So, let's just say that Bracey may have studied Keanu's highlight reels a little too well..lol at times any way.
But in all seriousness, go check this movie out if you want some good action served over a Hot Bromance.
