Stay Alert Thomas!
So if you remember in thefirst maze, Thomas was just beginning to unravel the mystery of the maze and all it's inner workings.
Well, in "The Scorch Trials", Thomas is still running, but he unknowingly has a member in his tribe carrying a hidden agenda. You see, not everything is as it seems and everything that appears to be a lie may not be quite so far from the truth. Now couple that bit of confusion with some awesome CG action and a relentless pursuit that will push Thomas to the edge and what we have at the end..is a movie worth watching! When The Stakes Are This High, Trust No One
One of the faults we've noticed in Thomas's character is that he's too naive. He thinks everyone is his friend and he will blindly go along with just about every wave in the ocean.
Now this would be fine if it were just Thomas himself, but he's got a whole tribe behind him looking for direction and guidance to a better way of life. Seems reasonable, after all he is the one that can slip through closing doors and walls at the last minute, but where is he going? Where is he running to? And while he's running, is he even paying attention to what's happening around him? Hmm, we think not because if he was, he would have known that.... Oh, sorry about that, you'll need to watch the movie to fill in the gap..lol ^_^ After Watching, The Scorch Trials..
We feel that the Maze Runner is going to continue toying with viewers and building up it's climactic conclusion similar to the ones we've been waiting for in film series such as "The Hunger Games" and "Divergent".
The Scorch Trials as a whole is a film watch worthy, if you don't mind waiting another one or two films to get to the bottom of the story. Makes you kind of miss those days when 90 minutes was all you needed to get a point across doesn't it? -Unhinged Reviews- If you enjoyed this Unhinged Review of "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, share it with a friend.
