"When science and beauty collide, Lucy is what you get"
Have you watched "Lucy" yet? If you have then you already know, but if you haven't, you need to make that happen A.S.A.P!
"Lucy" is something like you've never seen before, the movie is without a doubt one of the year's best films.
When we went to watch Lucy, we knew it was going to be good, but we didn't know it was going to be that good!
We're ready to jump into this review, so are you ready?
This movie is compelling for two reasons one being the Voluptuous Scarlett Johansson and two being a full blown scientific exploration of the mind. Crisp colors and fluid CG blast your eyeballs with images of top predators, mesmerizing telekinesis and captivating timelapse.
"Lucy" is one of those films that will glue your eyes to the Big Screen with ease. You won't stop watching once you start, it's a science geeks wet dream! Even people who aren't that into science will need a cold shower when the final credits roll. Visually, this movie is solid gold!
Talk about, "Think Big"! It's amazing how much information they packed into this 90-minute buffet of scientific marvels.
Okay, Let's see, you have Lucy(Johansson) getting caught up with some of the nastiest guys in the drug game. These guys have developed a new drug called CPH4 and it is off the hook, but there is no way they could have known it's potent effects. That's where Lucy comes in and she gets Lit up like the 4th of July, but she's not only under the influence, she becomes the influence!
Fortunately for her, there are wonderful thinkers on the planet like Samuel Norman(Freeman) to guide her heightened state of mind to the promise land.
Now, as you float through this film you will be blown away by some of the high quality scientific banter liberally splashed within the script. It's just wild to even conceive something like this actually happening in our day and time. Guess that's why it's called Science Fiction..lol
