Reggie Kray "The Gentlemen"
Reggie Kray is a suave gangster with a passion for beautiful women and making tons of money. He's one of those crooks you're always glad to see who would shake your hand with the left and knock you out with the right. He's laid-back, but deep inside he's a killer.
Reggie is the brains behind the Kray empire, as he knows just who to press and who to kill. He's a man of great discipline, unlike his psychotic brother who could end you without batting an eyelash. But even with Reggie's wonderful characteristics, he is not without flaws. His weakness lies deep within his chest and more often than not, his heart overpowers his logic. Ron Kray "The Brute"
Ronald Kray may look like a lamb with his dapper suit and cute glasses on, but he is the farthest thing from it. Ron is a stone-cold, psychopathic killer that values a cup of tea more than human life.
Ron Kray is Reggie Kray flipped inside-out with a hair trigger temper that gets tripped if the air blows too hard. He is the thorn in the side of the Kray empire, but at the same time, he is the voice of reason. It's strange to say that the most unstable character is the most sane in the criminal underworld where anything goes. A Tale Of Two Brothers
Now that you know who the film's about, let's talk about the story behind the twins.
Legend begins by showing a carefree Reggie spending his days teasing the cops and picking up beautiful girls. He's living every mobster's dream of wealth, health, success and power, but something is missing. His twin brother Ron is not at his side and there is a reason for this. As you know Ron is not the straightest knife in the drawer, maybe that's why his story begins in the psych ward. Yes, that's right, "The Psych Ward", where all the colorful people go. So, as you may have guessed, Reggie pulls a few strings and out comes his brother. It's unbeknownst to him, but he has literally just dropped a can of gas into his own personal hell that will never freeze over. After Watching, The Kray Twins
I've got to say this movie was even more entertaining than expected. It's a quality feature with a hefty dose of violence that at the same time is balanced with a light love story.
Emily Browning is the eye candy in "Legend" that offers yet another pin in Reggie's "too soft for his own good" heart. Well, if you wish to know more about this "Hardy" film, I suggest you find a copy and bear witness. -Unhinged Reviews-
