Knock Knock
Sometimes it doesn't pay to help a pretty face, as one Evan Webber(Reeves) quickly finds out when trying to help two beautiful women in distress.
"Knock Knock" begins by showing the loving and caring relationship that Evan Webber has with his family, prior to them leaving him for a vacation. In their absence, Evan is left at home all alone with nothing but his weed, his work and some old skool music to keep him company. That is until..he gets a knock at the door. The knock at the door unveils two beautiful ladies named Genesis(Izzo) and Bel(Armas), who are desperately in need of a hero. Or so it seems. Dad of the year, Evan springs into action to help the ladies out with their small dilemma, but little does he know it's only a matter of time before he'll be the one needing all the help. "Knock Knock" is a kinky thriller showing some of the evil that can occur when man succumbs to his inner most demons. Deception IsThe Devil's Playground
When it comes to a thriller, what better villain than man's own internal conflict. Man is bombarded daily with temptation and must submit to himself, his family or give in to his darkest pleasures.
Eli Roth does an excellent job of displaying man's plight through Evan Webber, as this character is one of strength until he is faced with the ultimate proposition. Another thing we enjoyed immensely within this film is how cold and calculated Genesis and Bel become acquainted in their new surroundings This kind of thing makes you wonder, how many men are going through something similar to this right now..hmm After Watching, "Knock Knock"
Eli Roth has definitely moved up the ranks in our value of him as a writer/director/actor with his own unique way of telling a story.
As we've all witnessed in some of his earlier films, Roth has the ability to play the soft, write the horror and direct a quality movie worth watching. So if you haven't yet, watched, "Knock Knock" make it happen because this is not one to miss!
