If It Seems Too Easy…It Probably Isn’t
Rocky, Alex and Money are three small-time crooks looking for a quick score to get enough money so that they can leave town for good.
However, somewhere along their nonviolent pillaging they come up with the notion that they are skilled enough to take on an old man in a deserted part of town.
I mean when you look at the vic, things seem almost too good to be true, because first of all he’s blind. Second, he’s old and appears to live alone(probably with good reason).
So you can see why they think breaking into his home is a sweet gig, but soon they will find out just how painfully wrong they are.
Maybe somebody should have warned them…
Things That Go Thump In The Night
Some of the best things about his film besides the crafty old man was the cinematography and intriguing story line. I can’t think of any point where the movie just lulled on and didn’t keep me in suspense (Once it was finally rolling).
There’s quite a few chilling scenes worth mentioning, but as you know, movies like this are best experienced first-hand without any spoilers.
Stephen Lang and the rest of the cast each contributed to their roles, but if one stood out more than the others it was Lang as the Blind Man.
After Watching, “Don’t Breathe”
I will say that the movie was an unexpected surprise. I mean, I didn’t even select it as one to watch and only watched it on a whim.
But now that I’ve watched it, I’m going to say it’s one to see if you like a little horror with your suspense. It’s one to watch, if you enjoy seeing a seemingly helpless butterfly morph into a ravenous pit bull. It’s one to watch if you enjoy a good dose of street justice with a healthy dose of demented madness.
Yeah, it’s one of those..lol Enjoy
