Getting Up To Speed Now when we left off in Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, there was one helluva showdown between the apes and humans. If you haven't seen it, then you need to make that happen before even thinking about tasting the fruits of this year's Blockbuster. Of course, you could still watch this film without having seen the first one and have a good time, but it will mean so much more when you know the back story. It's all about the story, the story of Caesar! This little guy, well he's not a little guy anymore, but this chimp is the shiet..lol He reminds you of a Mel Gibson in "Braveheart", you know comes across as a true patriot for the cause. A leader with his eyes on the future of his people, prosperity and hope for a brighter tomorrow. Yeah, he's that good! *Caesar For President* So What's Happening Now? So the story picks up where human civilization is just about extinct, due to some viral infection exploding all over the planet. This infection leaves Caesar and his kind at the top of the food chain for the mere fact that they have only grown stronger during this span of crisis. Caesar has used this time to build a home, a sanctuary if you will for his people which is really quite profound for a chimp an all. You've got to look at it like this, "You've got a talking chimp inspiring and teaching others a new way of life". How does that even work, it's just too awesome to even try to describe. Just the concept alone is Kudos-worthy, well done: Mark Bomback, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, we appreciate you! Getting back to it, a few "human" travelers are searching for resources and stumble upon two chimps in the woods. Before you know it, we humans react with irrational response which results in a face to face confrontation with the fearless Caesar! Now it's at this point that everything forward must change. The humans can't act like they haven't just seen greatness and the apes can't forget the struggle. It's a test of wills on all sides. You're gonna love it! Innovative Production Taking a moment to just marvel at the stellar production within the film, one has to ask, "How do they do it?". Now before you go searching it online, we encourage you to appreciate "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" for all it's glory, before going behind the scenes. We feel it could possibly cheapen your experience, if you lift the film's dress too soon. Be patient..lol All we're going to say about it is that these guys know their stuff. Top notch all the way through the entire film. They take the time to give each chimp, each ape it's own personality, movement and essentially role, in the film. Humans making movies with apes, "Woww, it's a wild world"! And Cut As we stated up above, "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" is phenomenal! You will enjoy this film and grow even fonder of the spectacular Caesar. This film is inspiring, entertaining and really one of the best films we've seen to come out this year. Now, that says a lot because as you know we've seen a lot of films..lol So get you tickets below and head to the movies. Enjoy!
