Batman Is Finally Here!
After years of garbage trials in finding someone to fill the Dark Knight's shoes, DC has found a winner in Affleck.
Affleck slides into the gritty role as if he was born to do it, maybe it's because he's older now, but either way he rocks it!
Bruce Wayne this time around is a little more direct and to the point(not as cartoony) with a chip on his shoulder the size of Gibraltar.
He's agile, edgy and has one helluva a serious bone to pick with the Blue Demigod, Superman.
Batman has been waiting his whole life to make a name for his self, he's tired of pummeling average men. Superman poses a real threat to society, as Wayne sees it, but his own personal demons may be leading him astray.
Will he find truth before The Caped One clips the wings that he's so eager to grow?
With Great Power Comes Even Greater Responsibility
In Dawn Of Justice, Superman(Cavill) is challenged by man and held accountable for his defiance of all known laws of physics.
It seems some stuffy politic-types have begun to feel that Superman is just as much a threat to their existence, as he is a saint to so many others.
The biggest struggle, Mr Clark Kent will face is to be or not to be. To remain intangible and mythic or to stoop to man's understanding.
This is a conflict I imagine all demigods feel when they're gifted with the power to burn a hole through the earth's core in a glance.
Which brings us to Kent's thorn, Kent's proposed challenger, Mr. Bruce Wayne.
But one may ask, "Why would Superman even fight such as puny man?". Well in short, if the odds are stacked up against you, one has no idea what their capable of.
Maybe he's got something to prove? Or maybe Lex Luther(Eisenberg) has something of value hanging over his head???
After Watching, Dawn Of Justice
I've got to say that I'm impressed with DC's ability to finally get a foothold in the Superhero game. I mean, it took countless films to get a noteworthy Superman and now they have a Batman that is worth watching.
But as any fan of comics knows, Dawn Of Justice is just the beginning of what could potentially rival the X-Men and Avenger franchises that have placed Marvel at the head of the Universe.
All DC Comics needs to do now is continue bringing heat and apply pressure with quality casting and strategic characters. If they pull out some corny hero now they may lose momentum, but if they continue with solid films like Dawn Of Justice..they just might stand a chance at posing a real threat to Marvel's grip on the box office.
What do you think?
