![]() The Tron Soundtrack is definitely one of Daft Punk’s finest moments in my book. The vast range of emotions they convey in their music are memorable and an amazing experience to be had by any listener. The category of compositions can take you from a soft subtle calm-straight to a passionate very intense section of music that has you ready to jump through the windshield. For me the windshield part is true because I listen to a lot of music as I traverse the city. Some of the stand out notes on the soundtrack are "Tron Legacy (End Titles)" and "The Son of Flynn" in these like many others on the disc you feel as if the music becomes a backdrop for your own story. Just imagine having an intense pulse of music surging into your ears as you rhythmically (tap tap) away, focused on the keys in your cubicle. Or even making a ham sandwich and having a crescendo of sound dictating the pace at which your mustard is spread on your sandwich. I definitely find it rather amusing, but this is how I listen to music. I let the music become a part of me. Daft Punk has created a lot of quality music over time which can still make people move on the dance floor. This sound track, however, definitely allowed them to go above and beyond anything that they have done at this point in their career. It’s solidified them as a force to be reckoned with in mainstream and introduced virgin ears to wonderment that a lot of us “seasoned” listeners have been experiencing for years. For me, the combination of Daft Punk and Tron Legacy 2010 definitely took the experience to "a whole nother" level. I hope you enjoy this soundtrack as much as I have, please comment about your experience. -Unhinged Reviews-
