![]() I've been listening to this song all day and I've got to say it's definitely a strong song with deep meaningful content. From the start of the track you already know this isn't Balls to the Wall, this is laid-back introspective Pepper. The message in this song is to love your friends and even others that have done you wrong in the past. There aren't too many rock bands that take the time to give your soul and lift. The lyrics aren't so dense that you can't grasp the concept, but after a few spins you can clearly decipher the harmonious marriage of voice and guitar. Songs like this are the reasons the reason RHCP is still relevant today, truthful, honest and just a total kick-ass band. There is one point in this song that just takes it to another level. I'm sure all my seasoned pepper fans know which part that is, but for all new to RHCP it's the "Bridge". -Imagine me taught by tragedy, Release Is peace- the manner in which they deliver these tender words will keep their music timeless time and time again.
