Radiohead- Let Down

  I’m going to go ahead and tell you that you may want to goggle the lyrics before you try singing along with this one.  The lead singer delivers a vocal that is so intertwined, so embedded in this rich melodic melody that it melts into your ear.  I love this song!  I listened to it for a few months before I finally broke down and “goggled” the lyrics because I couldn't even understand the words coming out of my mouth.

  This maybe the second song that I heard from Radiohead, but it was definitely the one that made a fan for life.  

Why?

  Because the song structure is insane.  Not even going to try and explain the process in which I think they developed this instant favorite.  Once reading the lyrics, I was able to see genuine poetry in their music.  Yes, I have several faves from this band and I’m sure I will review more of their music in the coming posts.  But for now I’m focusing on just this one that had me download at least four albums in one day.  

  The song croons in your ear with a come as you are, live, succeed, fail, rise, die, be happy, love, try, wonder, think, dream, realize, fly, cry, win, lose bed of emotions.  <--Not too wordy for ya was it =)  This song will be a unique experience for each listener, so all I can do is give you my report on how I feel when I listen to this song.  It is great for driving, especially when you have a good 20 miles or so to just repeat it until your heart’s content.  

  For this song, I have to say “Just Listen” it speaks for itself
