![]() "Sometimes we have to slow things down a bit to enjoy the finer gifts in life" -Unhinged Reviews- Hello, Hello Hello, How are you doing tonight? Yes, we decided to slow things down a taste for our first "Lovers" review. We went through the archives, picked out two of our faves and we're sure you'll agree, these songs are true classics. The first one comes from Eric Clapton and the second comes from, well you'll just have to read more to see won't you(lol). So pull your sweetie in close because this review could get a little steamy. Let's Unhinge this love affair! The Sweetest Kiss"And then she'll ask me, do you feel alright? And I'll say, Yes, I feel wonderful tonight"- Eric Clapton(Wonderful Tonight) Where do we even begin with this Cadillac of a track? This is a certified classic, all the way and through! Eric Clapton truly captured a wonderful moment in life that we've all, "hopefully" felt at one time or another. This is the type of song that comes to mind when you're walking with that special someone close by your side or just lost in a daydream. Have you ever been there? Just totally engulfed in your thoughts of her/him and the two of you laughing at a funny face someone made or even remembering that secret they made you promise to never tell. Love can be a funny thing at times. It comes around when you least expect it and just when you think you understand it, it flips you for a 180! That's why music like this is vital to our heart's survival. If we don't learn to center ourselves and regain focus when things get "a little crazy", we can easily miss out on one of the greatest gifts we'll ever know. So we thank Eric Clapton for giving us all a gift that we can truly appreciate over and over again(to all the rabbits out there(lol)). So turn the lights down low, cut off the television and let Eric's soothing words take you and you're favorite someone to that special place, tonight! Round 2 A.K.A "The Encore""She needs somebody to tell her that it's gonna last forever"- Bryan Adams(Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman) For those of you still at the keyboard, or just getting back from a well deserved workout *wink*, we would like to share the wondrous sounds of Mr. Bryan Adams. "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman" is one of those saucy, yet, serious songs that makes you want to hit the dance floor with your sweetie and melt the night away. It's really hard to tell if it's his gruff voice or the Spanish guitars in the back that make you want to just book a flight and finally make it out to that the private island you've always wanted to take her/him to. It'd be interesting to see the spike in childbirths that occurred during the mid 90s, we're sure Bryan here played more than a hand in it(lol). Either way, kick back and enjoy these two songs that we've hand-picked for you lovers tonight..but if you really, "really" enjoyed spending these moments with us tonight, let us know, below. But not too much detail..lol We do have some young readers...Thanks for reading and don't forget to share this review on your way out or in or both(lol). -Unhinged Reviews-
