If you cruise around the internet long enough you're bound to run into some interesting music. We recently fell in a YouTube hole and found this young talent named Meg Myers.
No one listens to The Bastard Fairies because they want to hear an average band making subpar music. They listen to The Bastard Fairies because they want to hear something unexpected and unique.
Memento Mori is an album that not only brings unexpected and unique instrumentation to the table, but it also provides some creative and controversial lyrics. You'll know what we're talking about once you hear "We're All Going To Hell", it's definitely original ;)
So with that said, let's look at a song or two as we Unhinge...The Bastard Fairies.
When you think of indie rock what groups first come to mind? Modest Mouse? Arcade Fire? Possibly both?

Nope. Indie rock likes to go outside of the box and sometimes they go so far out you can't even hear the words, but inside you feel the vibe. That's the kind of indie rock we're talking about.
Would you like to hear some? Here's a group out of Maryland that has held our interest for quite sometime. They call themselves Lower Dens, maybe you've heard of them...
"Getting feedback on your music is a vital component of excelling as an artist"
So you just finished cranking out yet another one of your awesome tracks and are already thinking of your next hit, right? But what about the song you just made? Has anyone heard it? Anyone that doesn't know you?
You may want to think about putting your new creation in front of fresh ears to see what the response is from an unbiased group. The more feedback you receive, the better you are able to gauge the best way to share your infinite wisdom with hordes of like-minded individuals!
