 Kendrick Lamar is definitely carving his own path throughout the rap charts. This is a young artist that has a unique voice and style of his very own. When you listen to Good Kid, M.A.A.D City's , "Money Trees" it's easy to see that Lamar isn't forcing his songs, he just let's them flow freely. A lot of rappers lose their soul trying to find the inner peace Kendrick emits on this psyched out masterpiece. "Money Trees" is the first song I heard off of Good Kid and it gets heavy rotation in my playlist. The production on the track is laid all the way back, I'm talking hammock swingin coconut shiet.  "California Dreamin" is a timeless song that will continue to play for many more years to come. "California Dreamin" was originally created by The Mama's and the Papa's in the mid-60s and has been sung by many different artists throughout the years. "California Dreamin" is one of those songs that captures the essence of a time when the world was still trying to find a balance. Even today, we haven't quite found it, but  Clifford Smith has become somewhat of an icon in the Hip-Hop community during the course of his career. This album Tical, was an instant classic in itself, but it's predecessor Enter The 36 Chambers gave  Suzanne Vega Suzanne Vega is a magnificent artist with enough sparkle and charisma to light up a smile in the smallest of hearts. She has her own blend of rock and folk music that gets people vibin to a spirit that's free-hearted and very much in touch with the people we love. Suzanne is also not one to hold her tongue as she demonstrated in "Luka" which was a song that raised child abuse awareness world-wide. Mac Miller, as you may know is a rapper from Pittsburgh that is best known for his passions of: parties, weed and women.
