![]() "January's movie lineup kicks us off with a little Greek Mythology, before bringing us back from the dead!" -Unhinged Reviews So, should you go to the movies this month? Yes, of course you should, but we're sure you probably figured we'd say that(lol). January looks to be off to a slow start so far, but from the trailers we've seen, there are a few movies that look to have promise. From what we can tell, it looks films will be reaching back in time to give us a little mythology and a few ghostly chills. Well, we sifted through the chaos and these are the ones we're planning to see in the theater this month! The Legend Of Hercules- 1/10/14 Let the carnage begin! Looks like ol' Kellan Lutz is finally stepping out from behind the glistening glow of his "Twilight" run and donning some Man Gear(lol). "The Legend Of Hercules" appears to be telling the story of his origin, but with splashes of a romance thrown in to ensure they grab both male and female audiences. What we're really looking forward to in this one are the feats of strength that young Hercules will exhibit in his demigod form. Just watch him rip those pillars down in the trailer, now that's when you know long days in the gym pay off! The Lone Survivor-1/10/14 It's Wahlberg.... No really, it's Wahlberg! He is the main reason we are going to see this one because he can do no wrong(lol). We don't know about you, but Wahlberg has cranked out some quality entertainment during his career and he shows no signs of slowing. This movie will be great for two reasons: One it's Wahlberg and Two it's based on a true story. It just doesn't get any better than that. By what we've seen him do in "Shooter" we already know he can use a scope and his performance in "Lovely Bones" proves he knows all about drama. So that's it, bases covered! Go see it! I, Frankenstein-1/24/14 And finally, rounding out this month's films, we have "I, Frankenstein". We were a little skeptical about this one at first because after all, Aaron Eckhart is the main character and he's not exactly known for action roles. He's awesome in films like "Thank You For Smoking" or "The Core" because his strong point is his charisma, but this is a new shoe. Can he wear it? Does he have the stones to carry the weight of the Frankenstein lineage? We see the CG, but will the story deliver? Here's to hopeful thinking, we'll be there!
