Gun control has always been a controversial topic, but as of late things have Spiked to the utmost. Point in case, I was fortunate enough to overhear a young, impassioned teenage girl and her uncle discussing gun control and let me tell you it was interesting. The girl was talking about how she doesn't want any bans on guns and how she feels that states shouldn't support the ban.
The Uncle was in favor of the ban and tried to explain to the young lady how the ban of AR’s and other deadly devices should be supported. The young lady spoke of how kids in school with great parents make poor decisions and should be accountable for their own actions. The uncle attempted with a rebuttal of parents should labor the bulk of responsibility for children committing mass murders on their peers.
Eventually, the uncle began stating that the ban is mainly for drug dealers carrying clips with 100rds-before divulging his racially biased opinions about guns and other various topics. The young lady stated that in her school everyone (guys & girls black, white, blue or purple) deal drugs and the recent outbreak of violence isn’t in just one demographic.
Interesting lunch break, I must say (I typed this as the conversation was going on, I wanted to share this moment with you) Feel free to comment below
