![]() While the weather's still trying to decide if it wants to be summer for a little while longer, we're going to fall into some theater seats and be entertained. This month finds us sifting through quite an unusual fare for October, as we don't have any big horrors like "Insidious 2" lurking in the shadows anymore. This is probably because November's heavyweights of "Thor: The Dark World" and "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" wanted to make sure that we moviegoers have plenty of money to spend on their big releases. We're not complaining though because it looks like "Runner Runner" and "The Fifth Estate" will give us plenty to talk about before we are transported to the land of cosmic gods and whistling mocking birds...Again..lol Runner Runner- 10/4/2013 If anyone's seen "In Time", they know that Justin Timberlake has been steadily building quite a name for himself in Hollywood as an actor. People are starting to respect him now and it's not just the MTV crowd, audiences of all ages have been checking to see what's next for the young celeb. So, in his latest film, "Runner Runner" with Ben Affleck, it looks like he's going to take on a more challenging role and "Wow" us with his wit. Do you think he can pull it off? Or will he fall in the wake of Affleck's shadow? The Fifth Estate- 10/18/2013 Don't you always find it interesting how actors put out new movies in batches? For example, Bruhl was just seen in "Rush" and not even one month later, we see him again in "The Fifth Estate". Again, we're not complaining, but we definitely find it interesting how the big wigs choose who gets to shine and who has to wait in the darkness. Any-who, this film looks to be one with a little more meat and potatoes on the table rather than relying on special fx to sell the vision. What we're expecting to be the highlight of the film is the motivation we'll all receive to seek the world's truths for ourselves rather than relying on the government to dictate our beliefs and actions. Didn't see the film your planning to watch in theaters this October listed? Tell us what movie you think should be added or taken off the list below and why. Thanks for reading and we'll see you at the movies -Unhinged Reviews-
