So last month in theaters, we were shocked and then shocked some more, as we had the chance to watch "Insidious 3"and "Jurassic World".
Now in July 2015, we are hit with even more block-buster goodness! We get the honor and privilege of watching Mr. Ben Kinglesy making a much needed return to the big screen in Self/Less. And then we have The Terminator himself who is still smooth as ever bringing the pain once again in Genisys. You've gotta love it! We're going to talk about all that and more as we pick the films we will be watching this month in theaters. Are you ready to see if your list matches ours? Terminator: Genisys 7-1-2015
Now if you've been following us on Twitter or Facebook, you would know that we are very interested in seeing what Arnold has waiting for us inGenisys.
It looks like it's definitely a bigger production than the last few Terminator films that have only achieved minor success compared to the epic original. We're hoping this new threat to the Connor dynasty will provide as much if not even more action since we have not one, but two Arnolds. Can you believe it? Yes, that's right, two Arnolds. We can't wait to see it..what about you? Self/Less 7-10-2015
Does it get any better than Kingsley swapping bodies with Ryan Reynolds?
We've been waiting to watch this one for a while and now after it's release date has finally stopped bouncing around, it looks like it's finally gonna happen. In the Self/Less trailer, we are promised a thrill ride of both psychological and physiological transformation. Seems to be a theme going on here..Hmm Anyways, the reason we are wanting to see this film is because it's another film writers take on man's ability to become immortal. When will we learn that we can't play God and expect to have a good outcome? It's going to be entertaining to see what Kinglsey does with his new body. What would you do, if given the chance to live forever? Ant-Man 7-17-15
Initially upon seeing the Ant-Man trailer for the first time, we have to admit, "We weren't blown away". It's been one of those films that has magically embedded itself in our subconscious through constant promotion.
Marvel realized that they would need to be aggressive in their marketing to even provide a platform for Ant-Man to stand on because after all, The Avengers has been our superhero bread and butter for the last few years. Even the X-Men have taken a backseat to allow Stark and Thor to dominate the screen and save the day. Thinking about all this in combination with the everywhere trailer of Ant-Man, we're going to give this film a shot. Basically, we're just curious to know if the little guy can deliver a "Big Punch". What do you think? Will you be going to watch this in theaters? Southpaw 7-24-15
Throughout Jake Gyllenhall's career, we've seen him put his body through some of the wildest transformations, but in Southpaw he is Ripped!
That's the amazing thing about these actors and actresses, they can alter the appearance of their physical form for just about any desired role. The only thing that they haven't been able to do successfully is grow taller *Devito* What we're expecting most from this film is to see a good story of a boxer whose pride costs him more than he was willing to lose. Along with that, we're looking forward to seeing the growth in Gyllenhall's performance, after all you've seen NightCrawler right? Well, what about you? What are you wanting to see from Southpaw? Good boxing or are you just hoping to catch a glimpse of the awesome Forest Whitaker. Let us know in the comments below. Runner-Up [Pixels 7-24-15]
